Lucas Oil Motocross Championship: Muddy Creek. Ken Roczen continues to win, Tomac close this week.
While many of the top 450 riders keep dropping like flies, (Dungey, Canard Grant and Anderson to name a few) KR and his Red Bull KTM keep collecting moto wins and overalls. Right now he is almost one race ahead of the pack but Kawasaki Factory Rider Eli Tomac made him work for the win in Tennessee. It looks as if Tomac is just starting to get his speed back after he was killing it last year before breaking both shoulders. Maybe Tomac and the KX450F are starting to find a good relationship and a setup he can get back to his old speed on. If Tomac keeps going forward with his progress, expect to see the number 3 in the number one position before the end of the season, at least as a moto win or an overall. But it will take come luck and a lot of moto wins to take the the title, yet anything is possible.

Helping our own, especially those who fight to try to make a living a pro rider, some make it some struggle, especially after their career is over. But when they are injured or can’t work and motorcycles is all they know, the community gets together and helps out our fellow riders. Kurt Caselli was taken way too soon and his foundation is in place to help improve the safety of racing during and after their careen. When the motorcycle community reached out to help Destry Abbott recently during his cancer fight, it is and was an amazing feat. Here are some shots from the Caselli event that gives back to the racing community. For more information or do donate, go to www.kurtcaselli.com
