Gerrit Wolsink’s 1977 USGP Winning Bike
There will be an auction January 25-28 in Las Vegas and this gem will be on the blocks. The bike looks legit but it’s a little beat. Looks like someone had some fun on a factory bike post 1977. If legit, this bike is pretty much identical to what Roger DeCoster also rode during that era. You can see the front factory hub, swingarm and other possible factory parts. I would image they authenticated the claim as the winning bike of the 1977 USGP at the Carlsbad Raceway in Southern California. Yes the track is long gone but the bike that won a race 40 years ago can be yours.
