The Beta 250 is a true weapon in the trail and off-road world. The chassis is a tad small for my 6’1 210lb frame but after 20 minutes on the bike that feeling goes away. A slightly taller (and softer) seat and taller bar or bar riser would to the trick for me. The power is very smooth and electric and pulls, yet does not hit too hard— great for tight trails or rocky terrain. The suspension is very balanced on the RR, meaning off-road plush for small rock, square edge and roots, yet holds up very nice in the mid-stroke and beyond in desert woops. And who can’t enjoy the light flickable feel of a two-stroke (I do). The front is very planted on the trails and very responsive to input and direction change with little work, more so than the KTM 250 two smokes in my opinion. For serious trail or extreme enduro riders, the Beta is shoulder to shoulder with the Orange family.
