Moto Toe Skiing, who wants to be toe or be toed?

Americans top MXGP in Charlotte North Carolina

Due to extreme weather, the MXGP in Charlotte was postponed for a day because the track was under water. Well maybe not under water but the weather was too gnarl to hold the event and the track was covered in hopes the storm would pass, and it did. And when the covered track was unveiled, so were the American rider. This was not a traditional GP track, considering it was a man-made temporary circuit built in a motor speedway. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Eli Tomac was on a mission to represent his team and let the European riders know he is one fast rider. Tomac showed everyone who was the boss and decimated the field.

In the 250 class Cooper Webb, on one of his last 250 races, was also a force to be reckoned with. Webb bested the great Jeffery Herlings, the one riders some say is unbeatable when he is on aboard a 250. On one moto Webb came from way behind, sliced his way through the back including Herlings to take the moto win and the overall. It may not have been a traditional MXGP track, but it was USA’s chance to shine under our own flag. Herlings clinched the championship in Charlotte, yet admitted that in the second moto Webb was the faster rider in that moto.

EnduroCross Sioux Falls

It seems like 2016 Colton Haaker is the man to beat in EnduroCross. The outdoor venue was a faster course with more open space. Husky rider Mike Brown held the early lead but yielded to eventual winner Haaker. Brown would later battle with defending champions Cody Webb. Webb made the pass while Haaker was way out front and the field would finish in that order.

DBT Test Rider Takes Supermoto Victory in Colorado

Although they don’t combine the scores for the overall, DirtBikeTest test rider Dustin Hoffman was the overall victor with a moto win and runner up finish during the latest round of the AMA Pro Supermoto Championship. Normal hot shoe go faster Gage McAllister had some issue sin the second main and battled with Hoffman in the first main but failed to do what he does on a normal basis, win. McAllister, the defending champion still leads the points chase for the 2016 title despite a weekend that did not have him on top of the leader board. Eric Stump, a series regular nailed the second main even win on a track that was said to be very difficult to pass on
