2017 Honda CRF450R and (X) are almost announced
Yes it is true, there will be an official announcement from American Honda regarding the illusive 2017 CRF450R. By August 11 we, including ourselves, will know all about the new bike(s). Although we don’t have the official lowdown yet, our story on rumors a few weeks back was pretty accurate. There is a very strong chance Honda will be announcing both the 2017 motocross bike and a closed course off-road bike that will feature electric starting (it will be an accessory for the MX bike). We will have the details right here at DBT as soon as find get the official information and Honda lets us release it. Here is a link to the story we posted a little while back. LINK. Over a Vital MX they spotted the new CRF out in public and snapped some real spy photos. LINK It has a lot of good information though Honda might disagree.
DeWane Jones Memorial Ride

Some younger riders might not know what the Jones’ family legacy. A father and two sons, Don (fatehr), Gary and DeWayne came onto the MX scene during it infancy and helped craft the sport to what it is today. Don Jones built the bikes and even helped developed the first Yamaha Motocross bikes in the very early 70s. Both sons were factory riders yet Gary Jones got most of the glory for winning several titles on several brand motorcycles. But DeWayne was also no slop poke and ride his heart out and was part of MX history in the eary 70s. DeWayne would continue racing and building suspension for riders all over in dirt track, MX and even supermoto. The father Don passed away several years ago and after a battle Dewayne took his last gate drop but his memory was remembered with a ride day at Glen Helen and all were invited to celebrate DeWayne’s life on two-wheels.

Combine a little bit of crazy, old-school style and vintage racing, oh ya and beer, and you make for a good old time riding dirt bikes that don’t handle, are not fast and often break. But fun is what it is all about and the Hell On Wheels crew seem to be having a blast. www.Hellonwheels.com
Is CZ back in business?
We read a report that said CZ will be back racing in Europe. No specifics on the bike other than they say it has Italian influence. Maybe it is a TM to look like a CZ or the brand is back. Click here for the media info and decide for yourself. CLICK HERE FOR THE LINK
Gas Gas is also back in business.
