Product Profile: Rev3D 2024 Kawasaki KX450 Air Filter Cage

Is the world of 3D printing here?

REV3D 2024 KAWASAKI KX450 FILTER CAGE AND WASH COVER

Is the world of 3D printing now part of the motorcycle world? We would say YES, and for sure. Rev3D is here, veteran owned and made in the great USA. You should check out their website—they offer a wide range of product and tools for moto and off-road.

Featured is a 3D-printed carbon fiber infused cage that replaces the stock unit in our 2024 KX450. They offer a cage for the standard filter or a raised cage like we have shown for the Twin-Air or DT-1 style taller filter. The cage replaces the stock screen-style for less restrictive airflow. We also received an airbox cover for when you wash your bike and want to clean out dirt in your airbox without getting water on your filter or inside the air boot.

The product is well made and the fit and finish was pretty much perfect.

First-day testing offered up improved low-end torque and pull down low and we were able to carry a gear higher in tighter turns. Look for a test later on DBT.

For its reasonably priced $41.99, thus far it’s a very good mod. Not to mention, they offer free shipping inside the USA.
