First Look: 2023 KTM 350 XC-F Factory Edition

2023 KTM 350 XC-F Factory Edition

As we’ve come to expect, KTM has released another “Factory Edition” racer, this time in the form of a 350 XC-F off-road racer. Introduced last year paying homage to the most decorated GNCC bike athlete of all time (all while riding for KTM), the Kailub Russell inspired build features some of the critical parts used by the FMF KTM Factory Racing Off-Road Team with Kailub previously at the helm, now taken over by Ben Kelley and Josh Toth. While a lot of the parts featured on this special ride have a bling factor, there are a handful with a performance edge to them.

Some of the big ticket items include the orange Factory Triple Clamps featuring the split design as used by most factory riders both on the SX/MX side and off-road. Another big one is the addition of the Factory Wheels with a triple-cross spoke pattern. These two can have a different feel in comparison to the standard double-cross spoke pattern, plus the wheelset is stronger than the standard offering.

An FMF Ti Slip-On Muffler adorns the bike as FMF is a big part of the offroad race team’s success. It looks cool and changes power delivery – good or bad depending on what you like.

Of course, the factory holeshot device, Selle Dalla Valle seat, composite skid plate, and carbon front disc guard have their place, just like on the MX factory edition.

Some unique bits and pieces include a semi-floating front disc and a solid rear disc, something not seen much in the MX world but is a staple on every KTM factory off-road bike.

Lastly, the bike boasts FMF KTM Factory Racing replica graphics and an orange frame to match. While the bike is a lot of bling, there are some useful bits and pieces that will make a difference on the trail and has been proven by the powerhouse off-road race team.
