Having never really ridden a 350cc four-stroke much before, I was eager to find out what all the rage was all about. The moment I took off I was instantly amazed by how smooth this engine was, so smooth in fact that I thought this bike was going to be boring to ride. Those thoughts were quickly silenced by the twist of the throttle. The orange stallion quickly showed me that this bike can go fast and rev to the moon and back when you want it to, yet it also was able to go slow and lug it whenever and wherever you want to without a problem. I found the suspension a bit on the soft side for me, but from what settings I had it at, I was able to tell that the WP suspension had a nice plush feel to both the forks and the shock. I was pleasantly surprised by this despite hearing all the bad rep KTM has been getting for their suspension throughout the years. This KTM really made me a fan of the 350 engine and I wouldn’t be surprised to see these taking over in the off-road market.
