I have not been a fan of the KX250F over the past few years. the engine was too aggressive and the suspension acted stiff yet bottomed. But for 2015 I was really surprised at the changes transforming the bike to one that I really got along with. Especially when I was able to run the aggressive or soft-terrain map plug, for me it smoothed out the power. This allowed me to pull higher gears no matter the traction condition. There isn’t much not to like about the engine, less the noise coming out of the exhaust. It will hurt your ears. The suspension also felt more progressive overall and bottomed way less than before. I thought the front brake was excellent but found the control of the rear brake an even more pleasant surprise. Kawasaki has made this bike more appealing for even more riders now.
