Fresh Dirt
Kicking up fresh dust with Tom Pages sendin’ it, some 2017 and good old-fashioned MX etiquette that every smart rider should know about Off-Track riding.
Dirt Bike Test is going to give the Weekly Dirt thing a try again. We did it a little bit before and got bored so we stopped. Now we are trying again to see if it gains some traction, because everyone needs something to look at on the computer while you wondering how you are going to get your dirt bike fix–but still have to suffer out four more days in the office before you can really get out and ride. We wouldn’t know, we are riding while you are reading this.
But while you were sleeping we were putting this together so you could spend a few minutes of your companies time enhancing your moto knowledge in a single space. Almost as good as riding but you don’t have to wash your computer off unless you are beyond strange. Maybe not as good as those message boards you frequent, but the kids are messing up those too. Anyways, we hope to make this a ONE-STOP place to waste some time and learn a thing or two. And if you think we don’t have any cool stuff up here, tell us where to find that cool stuff. Whether it is your companies latest product that will set the world on fire or maybe there is a great race we need to let some riders know about. You may be the only one who saw the video of the goat trying to knock the rider off the cliff and we missed it because we don’t check our Instafacegramtwit account enough. Yes, we’d like to have you tell us what you think should be in Fresh Dirt too. Let us know at info@dirtbiketest.com. Or just swipe us the right way on Tinder, we won’t tell. Otherwise we’ll quit doing this and just keep riding in secret.–Jimmy Lewis
2017 Yamaha FMX Bike?
Tom Pages is conjuring up some new moves on his 2-Stroke YZ250.
Could Yamaha be taking a serious look into making a bike geared towards fulfilling the needs of FMX riders? Tom Pages, after his win in the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour gives a sneak peek, as he’s looking to break some new tricks into the world of Freestyle.
Then there is this guy…
Want to see the 2017 Honda CRF450R?
You might have to hit translate or take the non-information with a grain of salt but you are looking at the basic 2017 bike. Single cam (come on speculators, look under a valve cover sometime and see what a cam is, the Honda Uni-Cam kinda looks like bouncing boobies so you could get into it), Maybe electric start (the engine will be able to accommodate this, maybe in the future) and a heavily redesigned chassis with (at least shown on the factory bikes in the pictures) some unique suspension. We know we’ll see the 2017 CRF250R pretty early so that indicates it is mostly unchanged but the schedule for actually riding the 450 is not until late summer with real information about it coming our early summer.

From a site that acts like Honda:
How To Be A Dirtbike ****head! – A “Public Service Announcement”
Some seriously funny content including etiquette on how, when, and where riding your bike outdoors is acceptable. Our friends from Down Under have the same issues.
We all hate having our favorite riding areas shut down on us due to that small percentage of riders hitting the rev limiter next to houses, damaging property, or riding recklessly (in public).
If you are part of that small percentage, you will probably take this video seriously. . . Don’t be that guy. . .
Like off-road racing and riding and can’t get enough? Well here you can…At least every Tuesday evening.

We puled this from the Glen Helen’s Inside Track magazine. Tom White’s article has some really good info from a guy who knows more than the guys who told you so…
