The TRUTH About Racing the Triumph TF450-E (No Filter)

The Dirt Bike Test Senior Team put the 2026 Triumph TF450-E competition enduro bike through its paces at the 6 Hours of Glen Helen. With just an IMS Fuel Tank, GPR Stabilizer, TCS Powersports Suspension Revalve, and Dunlop Tires/Mousses, the 50+ Expert team won their class and finished inside the Top 10 Overall with a flawless ride on the new bike.

The TF450-E is Triumph’s competition enduro model but it’s base platform is very worthy on any race track. With minimal modifications, our Senior 50+ team took it to the Top 10 Overall at the 6 Hours of Glen Helen Raceway.
TCS Powersports revalved and resprung the suspension for the team.
Without getting to test the valving, the front fork was revalved on the softer side, but the Triumph chassis wasn’t super sensitive to chassis balance and was more than rideable in its current state.
IMS Products’ has a dry-break ready tank with extra capacity that is slim fit and the perfect addition to any race bike.

GPR Stabilizer provided a Pro Kit including the V5D Stabilizer and a RBM Top Clamp that fit well and worked to minimize headshake on the fast, choppy track.
Modified Machine Works’ Dry-Break is sleek and a nice part during pit stops.
A race bike with a headlight and taillight?!
We put a longer chain on to extend the rear wheel further back in the swingarm for more stability.
Even with enduro roots, the bike is more than capable on a MX track.
Dunlop Tires were fitted on with an AT82F/MX34 tire combo front and rear.
