JCR and DBT Team Up To Support A Senior Citizen Race Team
Backed by a nice proposal and a reputation of delivering on making some interesting content, Old Pros Racing was born. Dean Taylor, former magazine guy from the Cycle Guide days hit us up to see if there was interest in his idea. He got his buddies Bill and Mike Dougherty on the program. Three 60 year-old racers giving it a go at The Best In The Desert’s Vegas to Reno, this year the “Other Way.” Luckily the Johnny Campbell Race Shop isn’t too far away and the 11x Baja 1000 Overall Motorcycle winner knows a thing or two about making a good Honda desert race bike. He was happy to help and the ball was rolling.
Through a few episodes on Old Pro Racing YouTube, a few appearances on Tech Talk Taco Tuesday and with continuing updates here, we will tell you the story of the Team’s progress.
