Honda is bringing back their tried-and-true lineup of about 325,289 450cc models, as well as the popular 250cc models. To our surprise, their are zero changes across the board, including to the 250cc bikes. The 450cc competition bikes received a host of updates for 2023, so we didn’t expect any changes to those. But the 250’s still have the same frame and chassis as before, not going to the updated frame as the big bikes have.
- MSRP: $12,499
- Available: September
Honda’s premium offering in their lineup, this bike offers all the bells and whistles one could want including Showa components front and rear with Kashima coating on the forks, a Yoshimura exhaust, HRC inspired graphics, and more. Of course, the price tag reflects it but if you’re one who will go down this route anyways, it’s worth a look and could be cheaper to buy it off the showroom floor.
- MSRP: $9,699
- Available: July
With some substantial changes in 2023, the ’24 model receives no updates. However, it’s proving quite successful with Chase Sexton’s AMA Supercross Championship in the bag and currently undefeated in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship with Jett Lawrence at the controls.
- MSRP: $8,899
- Available: August
The “S” model is the previous generation CRF450R (2021-2022), but at a lower price since it’s deemed as not being the “latest and greatest” in technology and performance. We applaud Honda for this offering as $10,000+ for a brand new bike can be a stretch for some, but this allevates that pain while still getting a more than capable bike.
- MSRP: $9,999
- Available: July
The off-road race model is unchanged for the new year, but we’ve grown fond of this machine and have quite a bit of positive to say about it. For more of our thoughts, click HERE.
- MSRP: $8,299
- Available: July
We thought we may see some chassis updates to the CRF250R that were applied to the CRF450R last year, but that is not the case for 2024. Still, we were happy with the 2022 CRF250R (still the same platform for 2024) which you can read HERE or watch HERE.
- MSRP: $8,699
- Available: July
The 2023 version didn’t dissapoint, so we expect the same for 2024 with no new changes. Read our First Impression HERE.
- MSRP: $9,899
- Available: September
No changes for the trail friendly off-road model, but we didn’t expect any. We’ve been racing a highly modified version of this bike all year, and you can check it out HERE.
- MSRP: $10,099
- Available: October
Again, no changes here, but you can read our full Bike Test HERE for more on Honda’s street legal option.
