2016 Beta’s Revealed

Beta has released information on the 2016 RR Two-Strokes, RR Four-Strokes, RS Dual-Purpose and X-trainer.

Beta-300-L
Hidden under the seat is the biggest change, an oil reservoir for the oil-injection system. But like usual Beta roles a lot of refinements based on the Factory Edition bikes from the year previous.
Oil-injection
This little bottle atop the airbox is where the oil goes. Then computers decide how much to allow into the engine. This system was very popular on the X-trainer and has also been proven to be very efficient in testing. The tank is roughly 650cc and should last a reported 6-10 tanks of fuel depending on the rider.
Beta-300-R
2 Stroke RR models will be available at dealerships in August Some of the other changes are to the airbox to increase drainage and the fastening of the cover. The suspension gets some changes, especially in the fork. And the upper shock mount has been reinforced as well. Suggested RR 2 stroke prices are: 250 RR $8299.00 and 300 RR $8299.00
Beta-RS
All of the four-strokes will go to EFI this year on the heels of the introduction of the Synerject 42mm throttle body on the 2015 Beta 350RR. This means higher efficiency while keeping the same or better power levels if our time on the 350 was any indication. The RS has a Trail Tech Voyager GPS standard. In November you can get a 430 RS for $9699.00 or a 500 RS for $9799.00.

Lots of small changes went into each engine displacement as Beta continues to improve on its current design. There is a new head port shape on the larger displacement bikes and a different cam profile in the 480. The rev limit of the 350 has been bumped up to 13,000 RPM as well. Small changes to the shifting mechanism and the switch to some aluminum bolts on the less stressed areas contribute to a weight savings.
Beta-4T-RR
The four-stroke RRs get a long list of chassis improvements including a translucent gas tank, a plastic skid plate (from aluminum), upgrades to the front fork and the frame is the same as used on the factory editions last year.
Beta-4T-RR-2
Four-Stroke RR models will be available at dealerships in October. Suggested RR 4 stroke prices are: 350 RR $9399.00, 390 RR $9399.00, 430 RR $9399.00,480 RR $9499.00
Xtrainer-action2-LR
The X-trainer will return unchanged for $7299.00 and be available in August.

The Betas look great except the gold forks. Maybe in person they look better. I really like my 2011 RR450. Thanks for the recommendation Jimmy.

Not sold on the gold forks either. Wish they made a ~20L tank for long range dual sporting.
